Fly over pristine desert lakes and remote sandy beaches in our brand-new Cub Crafters XCUB CC19-215, powered by Garmin G3X avionics—tools for pilots who demand the best. We offer high-performance and complex endorsements, along with initial ratings including CFI, in addition to ASES add-ons to expand your capabilities.
Pricing:
$550.00 per flight hour (fuel and instructor included)
$100.00/hour Ground Instruction
OR a 10-hour flight block for $5,000 to maximize your training, or go fly for fun

What We Offer
Seaplane course
The Savage Aviation Seaplane Course helps students build the skills and confidence needed to pursue their next flying adventure. Our 3-Day Seaplane Course includes 5 hours of flight instruction, 1 hour of checkride prep ground instruction, and 1.5 flight hours for your checkride.

Discovery Flights
Savage Aviation offers discovery flights in our 2024 Cub Crafters XCUB for pilots of all skill levels, and future pilots to discover what float plane flying is all about. Our expert instructors will guide you through a preflight briefing and cover the basics of float plane operations. During your flight you will have the opportunity to fly and experience water landings, the freedom of float plane flying.
Endorsement Flights
Looking to add some experience to an existing rating?
Come fly at Savage Aviation and earn your Complex Endorsement with our TAA-Approved Amphibious XCUB, or your High Performance Endorsement. Each course includes 2 hours of flight, and 2 hours of ground. You’ll work with our instructors to cover the basics and gain flight experience to safely and confidently utilize your new endorsement.

Already have your float plane rating? A refresher flight at Savage Aviation is the perfect way to sharpen your flying skills and regain confidence in a supportive, safe environment. Whether you’ve been out of the cockpit for a while or simply want to brush up on your techniques, our experienced instructors will tailor the session to your needs. We’ll review essential maneuvers, update you on any recent regulations, and ensure you’re ready to fly safely and confidently once again.
